This help doc demonstrates how to sell tickets online past the event's start time using the
All Day Event setting. It covers two key scenarios:
- Selling tickets on the event day beyond the start time.
- Selling tickets several days after the event starts (e.g., for a class with open enrollment until a specific date). Or for an event where you want to keep selling tickets online until a particular date.
Important Notes:
- Tickets cannot be sold past the event date.
- For scenarios where you want tickets available online until a specific future date, refer to Part 2 of this help doc.
Part 1: All Day Event Setting
This section explains the All Day Event setting, what it does, and how to enable it.
What the All Day Event Setting Does:
The All Day Event setting allows tickets to be sold online past the start time of the event. By default, tickets cannot be sold after the event start time without this setting enabled.
For example:
- If an event starts at 10:00 AM on January 1st, and you want to allow ticket sales until 10:30 AM for latecomers, this setting makes it possible.
How to Enable the All Day Event Setting:
Next, go to the TICKETS set up page for the event and adjust the ticket sale end time to your preferred time. Edit ticket sale times

Part 2: Selling Tickets Several Days After the Event Starts Or Until a Specific Date
This section explains how to sell tickets online for events, such as classes, that allow open enrollment several days after the event's official start date.
Steps to Set Up Ticket Sales:
1. Adjust the Event Date:
- Go to EVENT DATES on the event and set the event date to the last day it should be displayed online.
- Example: If the class runs from January 1st through January 10th, set the event date to January 10th.
2. Use the Event Date Override:
- Create a custom message for attendees using the Event Date Display override feature under the EVENT DATE page.
- Example: "This class runs from January 1st to January 10th."

- Online the event date will display the override:

3. Adjust Ticket Sale Times:
- On the TICKETS page for the event, set the ticket sale time to end on your chosen date (typically the last day of the event's run).
- Important: Tickets cannot be sold past the event's date. Ensure the sale end time aligns with the final event date.

4. Enable the All Day Event Setting (If Needed):
- If you want tickets to sell past the event’s start time on the designated date:Go to EVENT INFO on the event and enable the All Day Event setting.
- Example: For an event starting on January 1st at 10:00 AM, enabling this setting allows tickets to sell until 11:00 AM (or your desired time) on the same day if tickets are set 11:00 AM on the event.
