This help doc will cover how patrons can add other patron's names to tickets as well as how this can be done in the box office.
The video portion of the helpdoc will demo:
- Enabling ticket user info within the event setup
- How the patron would send a ticket to a guest
- How the patron can add names
- How the name displays on the ticket
- Editing a patron's name on a ticket from within VBO
If enabled, ticket user info will allow patrons to add other patron names to tickets after their purchase. The names will be added to the tickets. The ticket user info will appear on the checkout screen after purchase. Entering other patron names is optional for the purchaser.
To enable this is an option, go to EDIT EVENT INFO on the event and scroll down to the Event-Related Messages area. Click the Ticket User Info checkbox and press SAVE.
Once enabled, patrons will see an option to add other patron info to tickets directly after checkout and can send them tickets. Info can be collected pre or post-payment. If Pre payment is selected, info is requeired. If post payment is selected, the info is optional.
