This help doc will demo how to set up timed
ticketing events. Timed ticketing is used for
events that have multiple entry times on the
same day, and each time slot has its own
inventory.
Examples - Haunted Houses, Museum
Tours, or other timed attractions would use
this feature.
Timed ticketing is for general
admission events only (assigned seating
events would not use this feature).
In the example picture below, the
patron would be getting 2 tickets for one of 3
available time slots. The time slots have
their own inventory on the back end of VBO so
each time slot can sell out if there is no
more space in that time slot. A
setup video demo is on the bottom of
this page.

NOTE: Event duration should be set
on the secondary ticket (how long the tour
is). This setting will update ALL time
slot durations for that date. If the time
slot duration is not set up on the
secondary ticket, the system will default
the tour duration to be 1
hour.

Checking Guests In
You can check guests in and view
available inventory directly from the MANAGE TICKETS page on the event.
Click the timed ticket display in
the top right.

From the timed ticket display, you
can click on the qty number on a time slot to
view the guest list and check users in by
clicking the "check in" icon.

Creating a Timed Ticket Report Using the Custom Sales Report
The Custom sales
report can be used to generate a
timed ticket report. Follow these
steps:
Select Fields: Choose the following fields for the report:
- First
Name
- Last
Name
- Event
Date
- Order
ID
- Quantity
(QTY)
- Timed Ticket
Info (this output column will
show the time slot).
- First
Name
Apply Filters: In the filter section at the bottom of the report builder, select the specific event that has timed ticketing. Do not select filter by event date as this is already an output.
Generate the Report: Once the report is created, you can export it and then sort it in Excel.
Here is an
example screenshot of what the report
might look like.
