Seats can be marked as sold at both the event level and the pricing template level. This feature is commonly used to block off seats for a specific event, date, or reserved seating area.

To mark seats as sold at the pricing template level, go to Events > Pricing Templates, select the template you want to edit and open the map, and then start at Step 7 below. Then re-apply the pricing template to the event to update the event with your changes. Re-Apply Pricing Template
You can also create custom seat map hold labels for marked as sold seats. Custom labels can help identify blocked-off seats in the Box Office for specific group categories (for example, VIP seats).
