Managing Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies
VBO allows you to control the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy shown to customers during checkout. You can set a global default agreement for all new events or customize the agreement on a per-event basis when different language is required.

Global Default Agreement
The global default agreement applies to all newly created events using the event creation wizard. Copied events will use the original events agreement. 

How the Default Agreement Works
  • If the Default Agreement field is blank, VBO’s standard Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy will be displayed.
  • If text is entered, it will replace the default agreement for all new events created after saving.
  • Existing events are not automatically updated when the global agreement changes.
Adding Your Own Terms or Policy
You can either enter full agreement text or link to an external document.

If you only need to add a few custom clauses but still want VBO’s Terms & Privacy Policy to display, insert the placeholders below anywhere in the agreement text:
