Box Office
Tab: Billing
info is not
required.
Phone Sales
Tab: Billing info
is required.
If a phone
number, email, and address are required during checkout out on the back end - you are in
the phone
sales
tab.
What is the difference
between the phone
sales tab and the box
office tab?
The Box Office tab is
designed for in-person
transactions and is
designed to be quick.
I sell you a ticket
and you come on in. I
can choose to enter
user info like phone
and email info if
needed, but it is not
required.
The
phone sales tab
will require more
info as it assumes
you will be taking
customer info over
the phone and will
require more info
for billing. If in
the box office
tab, you can
always input more
info if you want,
but it is not
required like in
the phone sales
tab.
NOTE
- When selling
subscription
items, the
phone sales
tab will be enforced as account
info is
required for
subscriptions.
What do I do if I
don't have one of
the required
inputs?
Instruct box office
users that they can
bypass a required
input by putting a
blank space in the
required input should
a customer decline to
give you the required
data.
Do not enter data in those areas if it is not correct, just put a blank space to bypass or switch to the box office tab.
How do I know what
tab I'm
using?
Look at the left-side
navigation to see if
you are using the
phone sales tab or the
box office tab. If you
are using the phone
sales tab, billing
info will be bold and
required (pic below).
You can click the box
office tab on the left
side navigation to
switch to o box office
tab if you need to
switch a current order
from phone sales to
the box office (except
for
subscriptions).
