Overview

To protect your account and our system from unauthorized access, user accounts are temporarily locked after multiple failed login attempts.

This article explains how the lockout works, what to expect if your account is locked, and how an admin can unlock it.

Lockout Policy

  • Your account will lock automatically after 5 failed login attempts.

  • After each failed attempt, you’ll see a message indicating how many attempts remain.

How to Unlock a Locked Account

Only an admin user can unlock another user's account.

Admin Instructions:

  1. Go to Setup > More > Users

  2. Locate the locked user (you'll see a lock icon or status indicator)

  3. Open the user’s profile

  4. Click Unlock Account (click the gear and select unlock)

Once unlocked:

  • The user can log in again immediately

Security Logging (Admin Access Only)

The system records:

  • Each failed login attempt (with timestamp)

  • When an account was locked

  • When the account was unlocked and which admin performed the unlock

This information is available for auditing purposes and helps ensure transparency in account management.
