If checked, this setting will disable all features that may cause personal data to be collected without user consent. 

This setting is primarily used by European promoters for GDPR compliance and will disable Google ReCaptcha on accounts and remove the statement "This Site Is Protected By Recaptcha And The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service Apply" on plugins. 



By default, this setting is unchecked and Google Recaptcha is activated on promoters' accounts. Sites will display the Google ReCaptcha statement at the bottom of the plugin 



To activate Data Protection Compliance and disable Google ReCaptcha, go to SET UP > EVENTS > EVENT SETTINGS. Click "Enable Data Protection Compliance and press SAVE. Once saved, Google ReCaptcha will not be used and the site protection statement will be removed.

Checked = Recaptcha is disabled
