Event Manager profiles have restricted access compared to full users. These profiles are ideal for renters or partners who only need access to their own sales data, reports, and event-specific details—without full system permissions.

Note: Event Manager profiles have the lowest level of account access. Employees or staff of organizations are typically set up as Standard Users

Creating an Event Manager Profile

Navigate to the Users Area
  • Go to Setup > Organization > Users.
  • Click Add User.
Assign the Event Manager Role
  • In the User Type selection, choose Event Manager instead of Standard User.
  • Fill in the user details.

Set Permissions
  • Event Managers have limited permissions
  • Click the Permissions button and set the appropriate permissions.
  • Click Save & Close.

Enabling Report Access for Event Managers
By default, Event Managers do not have access to all event reports. You must enable Event Reports if you want them to view additional reports outside of the event manager report.

Go to Reports

  • Open the Reports menu.
  • Select Event Reports.

Grant Report Access

  • Event Managers can only access Event Reports.
  • Use the checkboxes to grant access to specific reports.
  • This is a global setting—it applies to all Event Managers, not on an individual basis.

Note: Event Managers cannot access the Custom Sales Report Builder (the “Custom Report” permission only applies to reports created by our development team).
However, you can share a custom sales report with them by opening the report, clicking the gear icon, and using the email/alert feature. While they won’t be able to edit the report, they will receive an email with a link to view it. Report Sharing / emailing
