This integration allows promoters to manually sync their VBO contact lists with Mailchimp or Constant Contact, avoiding the need to export and import CSV files.

Key Points:

  • Manual Syncing Required

    Syncing does not happen automatically. To sync a list:

    1. Go to the Email List section in VBO.

    2. Click the gear icon next to the desired list.

    3. Select the Mailchimp or Constant Contact list you want to sync to.

    Most promoters perform this sync monthly, often when preparing a newsletter.

  • 'Okay to E-mail' Required for Syncing

    Only customers whose CRM profiles are marked as "Okay to e-mail" will be synced.

    • All email addresses will still appear in the report.

    • However, any customer without this box checked will not sync to Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
