The External Event setting allows you to display events in your VBO events plugin without selling tickets through VBO. When patrons click Order Now, they are redirected to an external ticketing website to complete their purchase.
This is commonly used when tickets are sold through another vendor but you still want the event listed on your calendar.
Create the event as you normally would using an event name, image, and event dates. Once those are set, enable the External Event setting and add the external ticket purchase link. Tickets are not required, as patrons will be redirected to the external site and will not see or purchase tickets in VBO.

Add the event name, image, and event dates.
