Overview


The Round-Up Donation feature allows you to offer patrons the option to round up their order total and donate the difference during checkout. 

NOTE: The round-up option will not show if the order total is an even number. 
Example: $20.00 would not show the round up button, while $20.23 would show the round up button.


Setup Instructions

1. Navigate to SETUP > DONATIONS > DONATION CAMPAIGNS.
2. Click Edit on the donation campaign where you’d like to offer the round-up option.
3. Check the box for "Enable Donation Round-Up."

4. Add suggested donation amounts to display with the round-up option. If no amounts are added, the system will default to $1, $5, and $10.

How It Works

Round-up donations can be offered in three checkout experiences:

Box Office
When the setting is enabled on your default donation campaign, a Roundup button will appear in the cart view for box office transactions. Staff can quickly apply the donation before completing checkout.

POS (Point of Sale)
The same round-up options appear in the POS flow, allowing cashiers to prompt patrons and add a round-up donation with a single tap.

Online Checkout
During online purchases, patrons will see a donation prompt in the cart with options to round up their order or add an additional donation.
