A Donation Season is a pre-configured set of date ranges that can be used in Custom Patron Reports to see who donated during that time frame. Donation Seasons make it easy to quickly run reports for common periods, such as fiscal years or other time frames to view donation amounts.
Creating a Donation Season
Go to Setup.
Select Donations.
Click Donation Seasons.
If you already have donation seasons set up, they will be listed here along with their associated date ranges.
Add a New Donation Season
- Click Add Season (top of the screen)
- Enter a Season Name (Example: 2026 - 2027)
- Choose the date range for the season.

Using Donation Seasons in Reports
- Go to Reports.
- Select Custom Patron Report
- Open an existing report or create a new one - Custom patron report
- Check "Donation Sales by Donation Season"
- Select the donation season(s) you want to include.

- Ensure any other desired report fields (such as name and account ID) are selected.
- Click Save and Run.
- Export the report as needed
- The report will display the season name and the amount donated during that donation season time frame.
