How to Create a Pledge

  1. Navigate to CRM > Customer Management > Pledges
  2. Click Add Pledge
  3. Search for and select a patron
  4. Enter applicable pledge details:
    • Donor (Required)
    • Total pledged amount (Required)
    • Campaign (Required)
    • Start date
    • End date
    • Expected frequency (e.g., Monthly, Quarterly)
    • Payment method intent
    • Notes
  5. Click Add Pledge

Important Notes

  • Creating a pledge does not create a payment
  • No funds are collected when a pledge is created
  • Payments are recorded separately as donation transactions
